How to follow your Facebook friends on Instagram (in 2020)
Being able to follow your Facebook friends on Instagram is a very valuable tool. The chances are you know your Facebook friends well enough that if you follow them, they will follow you back. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with your friends, fans, and favorite communities on another platform.
Before you can follow your Facebook friends on Instagram, you'll need to connect your Facebook and Instagram account.
If you're not sure that your Facebook and Instagram accounts are already connected, attempt to make an Instagram post in the mobile app. If you're able to also post to Facebook, then your accounts are connected!
If your Facebook and Instagram accounts are NOT connected, first go to your Instagram profile.
After you navigate to your profile in the Instagram mobile app, tap the three lines located at the top right of your screen.
Next, tap Discover People (located at the bottom)
Then tap Connect next to Connect to Facebook. You will need your Facebook login credentials.

Under "All Suggestions" you will find every user that you are friends with on Facebook. Now follow your friends! Note: You can also connect your contacts to receive the same result - when you connect your contacts, tap Allow Access to let Instagram periodically sync your contacts.
Here, you can also invite your friends to Instagram if they do not have an Instagram profile or have not connected their Facebook account to their Instagram.
If you're unable to follow your friends, you most likely have followed a lot of people in a short duration on Instagram, and you got action-blocked for a limited time. Give it a short rest, and you'll be able to continue at a later time.
